Preparation of Basic Engineering Packages |
|
This is one of the major activities carried out by ESCC. We have prepared over 50 number of Basic Engineering Packages based on technology data available from ESCC, client's lab/pilot plant, existing plants or from licensor. The design covers chemical plants, hydrocarbon facilities, ammonia recovery units etc. A list of plants designed by ESCC is enclosed. |

Plant Debottlenecking / Modernization/Improvements |
|
We have studied number of plants to increase capacity, increase conversion, reduce energy consumption and reduce discharges. We had carried out major projects with a Dutch consultant in studying large five fertilizer complexes. The attached reference list provides further details on type of work carried out by us. |

Heat Exchanger Design |
|
We have carried out thermal design of over 1500 heat exchangers of different complexities including high temperature, high pressure applications along with vibration analysis. The designs have been optimized based on experience of over 20 years to make them cost effective. We have also under taking thermal rating of running heat exchangers with a view to evaluate their performance and suggest remedial steps for efficiency improvement. The design and rating is carried out using HTRI software by engineers trained over many years. |

Mass Transfer System Design |
|
We have carried out process design of continious and batch distillation columns, strippers, scrubbers, absorbers and extraction columns. Besides using internationally proven Detherm software for experimental vapour -Liquid equilibrium data, we also assist client in generating experimental vapour -Liquid equilibrium data using their laboratory when such need arise. We have designed more than 200 columns and most of these columns are in operation. A sample list of columns designed by ESCC is attached

Feasibility Studies |
|
We have carried out number of assignment on feasibility studies for various projects. The list of our clientele includes large companies like GAIL, UPL, DACL, GEMCO (The Netherlands), Duncans, GNFC etc. The list of feasibility studies carried out by ESCC is attached.
